Get ready for a truly magical day out at Forage Farm Shop and Kitchen. We’re decking the halls and bringing festive cheer to the Vale with a witty but heart-warming Christmas show for the whole family.
Meet Father Christmas and his merry elves in a magical, interactive experience packed with festive touches around every corner! Set amidst the beautiful countryside, it’s the perfect place to celebrate the season and make unforgettable memories.

The magic doesn’t end when the show does. Meet Father Christmas, receive a cuddly keepsake to take home, and capture the moment with a festive family photo on your own phone.
Magical Christmas Encounters
Meet our Christmas characters and make a special Christmas wish. Two characters will appear each day, with our festive friends taking turns throughout the season.
Meet the Little Donkeys
Come and say hello to our friendly donkeys and enjoy a special festive moment with these much loved members of the Forage family.
Marshmallow Roasting
Enjoy a winter treat and toast marshmallows over a crackling open fire.

Before or after your Christmas experience, take time to explore everything Forage has to offer. From festive bites and warming drinks to Christmas shopping in the farm shop, there’s something for all ages.
Plus, Christmas show ticket holders receive an exclusive 10% discount in the Farm Shop on the day of their visit (Excludes alcohol and butchery items). The Farm Shop is filled with seasonal produce and thoughtful gifts that you can treat those you love this Christmas.

How to Find Us
The Christmas Show will take place on the lawn at Forage Farm Shop & Kitchen.
The access road to Forage Farm Shop and Kitchen is via the new roundabout on the A48
Travelling Westbound on A48
Coming Westbound from Cardiff on the A48 it is the third exit (sign posted Penllyn Estate) off the first round about after the Cowbridge turning. Enter Penllyn Estate and drive down the private road; Forage is about 600m on your left.
Travelling Eastbound on A48
Coming Eastbound from Bridgend on the A48 it is the first exit (sign posted Penllyn Estate) off the roundabout just before Cowbridge.

How much are tickets?
Children £17.50, Adults £15, Children 2 and under £6
What does my ticket include?
Your ticket allows you entry to the Christmas Show event area. Here you will see the magical elf show, visit Father Christmas (all children under 14 receive a present), meet Christmas characters and make a Christmas wish, roast marshmallows and receive a glitter tattoo. You will also meet our super cute donkeys on your way in!
What is excluded from the ticket price?
Food and drink, face painting and balloon modelling, Christmas shopping in the Farm Shop.
Can I bring my dog?
Our furry friends are welcome in the Christmas show area but will not be allowed into the performance space. Please ensure dogs are always kept on a lead and are never left unattended.
What time should I arrive?
Please arrive slightly before the time stated on your ticket as this is the time that the Christmas show begins and you must be seated by this time. Please make your way directly to the Christmas tent situated within the Christmas experience area where you will be greeted and seated for the performance. The site opens 10 minutes before the time of the first show each day (see website for show times).
Visitors are welcome to do the additional activities before or after their show time unless you have tickets to the very first show (in which case you must do the activities after the elf show).
What should I wear?
Please wrap up warmly and bring you umbrella’s if it’s raining as part of the experience is outdoors. The ground may be uneven or muddy underfoot so we advise wearing your welly boots!
Is Santa's Beard Real?
Yes, Santa has a fabulous natural beard!
What Time Does The Site Close?
Our site closes at 8.15pm.
What age is this christmas experience suitable for?
Any age that loves Christmas! Our Christmas family show can be enjoyed by all ages but may be more suited to children between the ages of 2 and 11 as well as the young at heart of course!
Is the event wheelchair accessible?
Yes. The event is wheelchair accessible. If you need any further information, please do not hesitate to contact us via – christmas@foragefarmshop.co.uk
Can we bring buggies or pushchairs?
Due to limited space, we are not able to accommodate buggies in the performance tent.
What if I miss my allocated timeslot?
We will try our best to squeeze you in, but there are no guarantees. If you do miss your slot, please contact us via christmas@foragefarmshop.co.uk and we will do our best to assist you although please be aware that tickets are non-refundable and demand for this event is high.
Do you accept walk-ins?
If this timeslot has availability, you will be able to buy tickets on the door (£17 for adults and £19.50 for a child and 2 & under £8). However, we get extremely busy, and strongly advise you to book online.
What is Your Cancellation Policy?
Ticket Policy
Due to the seasonal nature and high demand of this event, tickets are non-refundable. However, tickets can be transferred to an alternative date up to 7 days before your visit. Transfers cannot be made after this deadline.
Event Cancellation
If the event is cancelled by the organiser, the booking fee is non-refundable. By making a booking, customers acknowledge and accept that the booking fee is paid at their own risk and will not be refunded in the event of cancellation.
Can I swap my ticket for another date or time?
You are able to swap your tickets up to 7 days before your visit. This can be done via the “Manage Booking” link in your booking confirmation which came via email from Forage Farm Shop at the time of booking.
