Meet Father Christmas and his merry elves in a magical, interactive experience packed with festive activities around every corner! Set amidst the beautiful countryside, it’s the perfect place to celebrate the season and make unforgettable memories.

Meet Father Christmas
The magic doesn’t end when the show does. Meet Father Christmas, receive a cuddly keepsake to take home, and capture the moment with a festive family photo on your own phone.
Meet the Ice Queen
Meet the Ice Queen and share a special Christmas wish with her. Say hello to Mrs Claus, the Forage Red-Nosed Reindeer and the enchanting Penllyn Snow Queen.
Meet the Little Donkeys
Our real-life donkeys are waiting to say hello. Be sure to pay them a visit during your Christmas adventure.
Marshmallow Roasting
Enjoy a winter treat and toast marshmallows over a crackling open fire.

THE CHRISTMAS VISIT - ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT!

And, of course, it wouldn’t be Christmas without a few festive treats. Warm up with a festive drink, indulge your sweet tooth and keep the Christmas spirit going with something tasty in hand.

Make the most of your visit by stopping in at the Forage Farm Shop, open until 6.30pm (on Christmas Experience event days).

Whether you’re shopping for stocking fillers or Christmas dinner ingredients, the Farm Shop is a one-stop festive treasure trove, full of high-quality, low-food-mile delights from Penllyn Estate and beyond.

The access road to Forage Farm Shop and Kitchen is via the new roundabout on the A48
Travelling Westbound on A48
Coming Westbound from Cardiff on the A48 it is the third exit (sign posted Penllyn Estate) off the first round about after the Cowbridge turning. Enter Penllyn Estate and drive down the private road; Forage is about 600m on your left.
Travelling Eastbound on A48
Coming Eastbound from Bridgend on the A48 it is the first exit (sign posted Penllyn Estate) off the roundabout just before Cowbridge.

How much are tickets?
Children £17.50, Adults £15, Children 2 & under £6.
What does my ticket include?
Your ticket allows you entry to the Christmas experience event area. In this area you will have the chance to see the Elf show, visit Father Christmas (all children under 14 receive a present), character meet and greets, make a Christmas tree decoration to take home, make reindeer food for Christmas eve, write a letter to Father Christmas, toast marshmallows over our open fire pits and receive a glitter tattoo.
What is excluded from the ticket price?
Food and drink, face painting and balloon modelling, professional photos with Father Christmas available to purchase.
Can I bring my dog?
Our furry friends are welcome in the Christmas experience area but will not be allowed into the performance space. Please ensure dogs are always kept on a lead and are never left unattended.
What time should I arrive?
Please arrive slightly before the time stated on your ticket as this is the time that the Christmas show begins and you must be seated by this time. Please make your way directly to the Christmas tent situated within the Christmas experience area where you will be greeted and seated for the performance. The site opens 10 minutes before the time of the first show each day (see website for show times). Visitors are welcome to do the additional activities before or after their show time unless you have tickets to the very first show (in which case you must do the activities after the elf show).
What should I wear?
Please wrap up warmly and bring you umbrella’s if it’s raining as part of the experience is outdoors. The ground may be uneven or muddy underfoot so we advise wearing your welly boots!
Is Santa's Beard Real?
Yes, our Santa has a fabulously natural white beard!
What Time Does The Site Close?
Our site closes at 8:30pm
What age is this christmas experience suitable for?
Any age that loves Christmas! Our Christmas family show can be enjoyed by all ages but may be more suited to children between the ages of 2 and 11 as well as the young at heart of course!
Is the event wheelchair accessible?
Yes. The event is wheelchair accessible. If you need any further information, please do not hesitate to contact us via – christmas@foragefarmshop.co.uk
Can we bring buggies or pushchairs?
Due to limited space, we are not able to accommodate buggies in the performance tent but we will provide a sheltered buggy park.
What if I miss my allocated timeslot?
We will try our best to squeeze you in, but there are no guarantees. If you do miss your slot, please contact us via christmas@foragefarmshop.co.uk and we will do our best to assist you although please be aware that tickets are non-refundable and demand for this event is high.
Do you accept walk-ins?
If this timeslot has availability, you will be able to buy tickets on the door (£17 for adults and £19.50 for a child and 2 & under £7). However, we get extremely busy, and strongly advise you to book online.
What is Your Cancellation Policy?
We’re afraid that we are unable to refund tickets bought for this event. However, if you have purchased ticket insurance cover with XCover you may be able to apply for a refund. Please visit www.xcover.com/claim
Can I swap my ticket for another date or time?
Your are able to swap your tickets up to 7 days before your visit. This can be done via the ‘manage my booking’ section on the TicketSource website or by contacting TicketSource directly
