A Business Born from Creativity and Connection
Like many great ventures, CJ Tasty Treats began during lockdown. Founder Cath Mellor started baking and decorating biscuits as a way to stay connected with family and friends in Hampshire.
What started as a creative outlet quickly turned into a passion, and by 2021, CJ Tasty Treats became an official business.
From selling at local markets and food festivals to supplying independent retailers across the country, Cath’s dedication to quality and artistry has helped the business grow. Now, in 2025, there’s an exciting new chapter ahead – her son Benji has joined the team full-time, prompting a refresh and rebrand, along with a host of exciting new products.
The Art of Handmade Biscuits and Beyond
CJ Tasty Treats is best known for its buttery, melt-in-the-mouth shortbread biscuits, each one hand-decorated with intricate designs. Whether it’s a themed set for a special occasion, an engaging paint-your-own biscuit kit, or custom corporate gifts, every treat is unique and made with care.
