The Forage Kitchen serves delicious food cooked by our team of chefs onsite using fresh, seasonal ingredients which are locally sourced where possible. Why not treat yourself to a morning coffee with a good breakfast or a delicious lunch to go? From February 1st, we will be serving breakfast and lunch for takeaway and please keep an eye on our website and social media for designated evenings too!

Welcome To Forage Kitchen

Visit the Forage Kitchen to enjoy fresh, seasonal dishes, cooked by head Chef, Matt Eales (pictured), and his team in our beautiful new restaurant. Menus are refreshed regularly, and many of the ingredients are sourced on our doorstep from Penllyn Estate Farm, as well as from other local suppliers. Matt works closely with our head butcher, Steve Evans, to design delicious plates based on seasonal availability whilst also maintaining some of our most popular signature dishes. Mouth-watering specials are prepared each day, based on the local produce available. The restaurant provides a spectacular view over the Thaw Valley, with its contemporary design providing a feeling of warmth and space in which to enjoy your food and drink.

The kitchen is open for breakfast, lunch, and teatime treats for both adults and children. Tables are available on a first come, first served basis and no prior booking is required. The restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere and our staff are on hand to help with anything you might need. Please do ask if you have any special dietary requirements or requests; our chefs will always try to accommodate these where possible.

Our coffee bar is open until Monday to Saturday 8.30am – 5pm, and Sunday 9.30am – 4.30pm with a good selection of drinks, delicious cakes and other treats.

Kitchen Takeaway Open 7 days a week from Friday 23rd April:
Breakfast: 8.30am-12pm (9.30am on Sunday)
Lunch: 12pm-3pm (last orders 3.30pm on Saturday & Sunday)

Children’s menu available until 4.45pm Monday – Friday

Coffee Bar Open 7 Days A Week:
Mon – Sat 8.30am – 5pm
Sun 9.30 – 4.30pm

Due to Covid-19 we politely ask that you observe our one-way systems and queue spacing. When you receive your buzzer we would appreciate it if you could wait outside or browse the shop to prevent people congregating.

Takeaway Menu

As of April 26th 2021 outdoor seating will be available for you to enjoy your takeaway food in a beautiful setting! Our Kitchen is OPEN every day from Friday 23rd April (please see opening times above). We will be operating a first come, first served system with no booking required. Please grab a table outside (from 26th), take a look at the menu and send one member of your group to order. You will be handed a buzzer which will let you know when your order is ready to come back in to collect. We can’t wait to see Forage alive again and look forward to welcoming everyone. Our staff are always on hand to help with any questions you may have.

 N.B.: While we do our utmost to accommodate dietary requirements, we do use gluten, nuts and animal products in our kitchen and cannot 100% guarantee no cross-contamination.
